A magical stay with so much charm

The decor is fine, and every little detail is spot on. I was totally blown away by the vintage rugs and the comfy beds. Plus, the shower was a dream! Only bummer was hauling our bags up the stairs, but they do have a dumbwaiter for that.

The best thing was how responsive and helpful the staff were. My room was big size and beautiful with a private bathroom. It was nice to have an electric kettle and a refrigerator available. Location: the hotel was close enough to many great restaurants nearby. Strongly recommend this place and will be returning here soon...

Very responsive and outstandingly accommodating staff interactions. Marvellous and ideal location, walking distance to everywhere. Positioned 9 miles from the airport.

The location is vibrant with plenty of nightlife options close by.

The bed was too soft and sagged significantly, requiring additional support to be comfortable.

great experience but lacking dining options

The check-in process was smooth and efficient! I appreciated not having to wait and just entering my code. Staying in the Beautiful Queen Room felt wonderfully private and quiet. I loved being just a block away from a spa for some pampering, and I found nearby places open late for food, a lifesaver after my concert.

The lack of on-site dining options was disappointing.

The clever dumbwaiter lift made transferring our luggage upstairs seamless. The quirky decor in the common lounge added a charming touch to our stay, although we were unaware of breakfast offerings.

Can recommend for a lightning stop

Great building, great location, with history reflected in the decor and thoughtful details like a tv and an electric kettle in the room. We easily accessed the Schuylkill river trailhead just 1 miles away with dedicated bike lanes, and enjoyed a short walk of only 1 mile to dinner at a fantastic restaurant.

No negatives to report

the shower water pressure was low, but the spacious room's decor was stunning! loved the cozy lounge on the first floor and the easy text communication with staff. those daily snacks were a nice touch.

The street noise was like a never-ending party, so bring ear plugs-unless you fancy a front row seat! And the shower was more like a gentle sprinkle, but the view made up for it!

A perfect location near vibrant nightlife. The bed and pillows in my Beautiful King Room were comfortable, ensuring a restful night. Plentiful historical charm in the building enhanced the experience. Check-in felt impersonal, and the 'contactless' system made it difficult to engage with staff. The room amenities were nice, but room service was lacking in variety and quality. Some noise from the street made it hard to relax. A nice visit with room for improvement.
